She's AVAILABLE!!!!!

Email just received from our ANGEL, Kelly! Vita is available to be adopted - and quote from the Latvian attorney, "orphan court is VERY pleased Vita will be adopted". So, may the RACE begin - - and the fundraising!! Keeping you posted!

Why her?

Thanks to some great friends, we were introduced to New Horizons for Children. This agency gave us the opportunity to host an orphan during the month of December. Through the generosity of many, we were able to host V, 13 years old, from Latvia. She was a fireball! You couldn't help but love her, if for nothing else - her smile!! It was contagious. Although a little more reserved around strangers, she kept us laughing at home. After day 4, she was calling us mommy & daddy and referring to the other kids as her brothers and sisters. She was already ONE OF US!! Even during the hustle and bustle of Christmas, she endured meeting SO MANY family members from all over the country, and she loved them all!

Although adopting was not in our plans when we hosted V, God's ways were not our own. Putting her on that airplane back to Latvia was almost like sending one of our own children away to a foreign country. When we look at her picture, we see one of our own! Our desire is to get through this process called adoption and bring V home!! God has called us to it and GOD will bring us through it!!
